T-Shirts

When the all clear was given for D-Day, the invasion was announced on the radio to the underground, introduced by the iconic sound of the 5th Symphony of Beethoven. Soldiers were crammed into ships and planes and were on their way to fight for freedom. Most European civilians weren’t aware of what was coming, but when June 6th came, it was the first day of reborn hope.

The 060644 t-shirt is a homage to the moment that the calendar changed from June 5th to June 6th 1944. Next to that, the JUNO Beach shirt was created with one thing in mind; the heroic landings on that beach. And to make it complete, the text on the third shirt is a part of the War Diary of one of the regiments that landed that day; it sums up the Canadian bravery.
